Lot includes five quartz crystal specimens. Crystals are individual. 1) Prismatic clear crystal (approx. 2.5x1.25x1"), rhombohedral, slight iron staining, patch of milky, with milky at base, beautiful 5-facet negative growth imprint, iridescence patches; 2) large (3x1.5") prismatic crystal, rhombohedral, negative growth imprint, slight stepped striations, iridescence patches, few daughter crystals (0.13"). This crystal is slightly milky near the center and base but it's crystal clear in all the right places, showing crystal sprouts that have been enveloped by the growth of this crystal! One daughter crystal is approx. 0.75" with 0.13" protruding! This is a beautiful specimen. 3) prismatic crystal, approx. 2x1.75x1.5", rhombohedral, negative imprint at top, iron staining, showing multiple daughter crystals and sprouting; 4 and 5) Two small quartz crystal clusters (largest approx. 2.5x1.5x2.25", smaller approx. 2.5x1.25x2.5), both display rhombohedral and Dauphine habits, split/inter growth and twin crystal clusters growing non-orientated, larger crystals have sprouting and daughter crystals. Black inclusions. Specimens 4 and 5 should be considered a 'free floating' formation, as it only has one point of connection for nucleation of crystal growth (this is the only fractured/broken surface, with no other showing interference/intergrowth). Natural growth lines evident on all facets. Chunlin Collection.
