1867. Originated from Gold Hill and sent to Folsom. Forwarded to the rare California town the Salmon Falls, California. It is about a discrepancy in the amount of money owed on a bill. Henry Blauvelt of Gold Hill believes it is $290. However, JS Campbell the agent in Folsom, who had moved to Salmon Falls, says the original $230 is correct if received in U. S. Coin. Blauvelt was the Wells Fargo and Bank of California Agent on the Comstock. Campbell was an early Californian and a grocer and miner. Salmon Falls is now under Folsom Lake and has been washed away from history.
