Same corp. signatures. Not cancelled. Blue border. Railroad Valley is in Nye County about 50 miles southwest of ELy. Oil was discovered in the early 1900s but production didn't start until the late 1920s. This company may have acquired land and water rights in hopes that a small town would spring up from oil discoveries. Secretary Keenan was also the secretary of the Railroad Valley Company, which formed to drill for potash deposits in 1912.
