This assay report is of ore from the California Mine from the offices of the Arivaca Milling and Refining Co. of Arivaca, Arizona Territory. The ore was received on September 23, 1881. An unnumbered document. One vignette depicts two miners before an industrial complex, the other vignette depicts the milling and smelting process. A very rare document. The California Mine was one of many successful mines in the Arivaca District where ore was discovered during the Spanish times and even help finance a Mexican revolution. A document with folds, crisp corners, very readable, ready for framing. At 10 in. X 8.25 in. Please see photo for details.
