No edge issues or discoloration. Cope would sell this 'valuable' mining company to D. M.Taylor, et al,on August 21, 1881 as reported in the Carolina Watchman. On August 24, 1882 the newspaper reported that the mine and all associated equipment would be sold at public auction on the courthouse steps.
