Treasury Department, return of mutilated currency! 1) $99.73 enclosed. 52 discount and 25 rejected (possibly a fractional currency note or 25 pieces), less than half a note (retained). 2) This has 50 counterfeit and returned. Henry Elling was a famous Virginia City banker. We have not seen one of these from Montana. RARE! One is in good condition, the other has very heavy folds and a few tears.
