Truly fabulous collection. 1) A very early, very rare Mickey Mouse 15" tall stuffed velveteen doll, from a time when Mickey really looked more like a rat! Incredible collector's item. Face is drawn on. Condition good, head a bit loose from neck, wires in shoes poking out a bit. Possibly by Charlotte Clark. 2) A 1920's Dean's rag book. Mickey mouse made from velveteen material covering, shorts, hands shoes, and ears. Fitted to the shorts are four small yellow plastic buttons. Mickeys face features a toothy grin (correct with the time) over-sized ears and shoe button eyes. A fantastic, highly collectible item and very hard to find. A toy with age related wear, missing his wire tail. Even after all of the negative points that have been mentioned, you will see that actually this is still a lovely rare vintage toy and a must for serious Disney collectors. 3) Mickey Mouse Films. Silly Symphony is a series of 75 animated short films produced by Walt Disney Productions from 1929 to 1939. As their name implies, the Silly Symphonies were originally intended as whimsical accompaniments to pieces of music. As such, the films usually had independent continuity and did not feature continuing characters, unlike the Mickey Mouse shorts produced by Disney at the same time. 4) Very old, hard rubber 6" Mickey Mouse figure. Moveable head. One arm broken off, but in package. 5) The Adventures of Mickey Mouse, Book 1, 1931. David McKay, 1931, Philadelphia. Pictorial Cover. Book Condition: Good. Walt Disney Studios (illustrator). The one that began the Disney empire. Story and illustrations by staff of Walt Disney, no pagination, book bound in color pictorial paper over boards, color illustrated throughout; light wear at extremities, Size: 8.25" x 6". State: United States City: Date: Early 1900's FHWAC#: 33577
