Inc. in New York. No. 255. Issued for 50 shares to Thomas J. Harlan on April 24th, 1869 in New York. 25 cent Internal Revenue stamp attached bottom right. Green company seal bottom left. Vignette of miners working underground. Signed by D.B. Williams (president) and W.W. Dibblee (asst. secretary). Folds, rough edge top left and small tape repair on the reverse, otherwise clean. Browne (1868) notes that this company "owns the Kaleseed, Parent, Zimmerman, and Jacob Mines on Lander Hill, lying in close proximity to each other and parallel, so that they may be well opened and worked by one perpendicular shaft."
