SECOND certificate issued! For 5 shares to John S Love. Signed by Thompson Campbell and president JW Foard. Dateline San Francisco December 30, 1863. Reese River Mining District. Charles Pope seems to have been a rather accomplished actor who moved to the area shortly before this mine was incorporated. He had would have had ties to the president through Rollin Daggett. Biography of Charles Pope and the Foard, Pope, Daggett relationship is discussed. [ Austin, Lander Co. Nevada
