This a a first mortgage sex per cent bond for $1,000. The specimen proof contains 10 attached coupons. The Trinidad was a subsidiary of the Atchison, Topeka and Sante Fe Railroad used to establish its own coal mine for its own uses and for nearby markets. Starkville became a classic company town. Sold to the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company in 1896, these operations added to the region's industrial growth greatly during the late nineteenth century.
