1. Geology of the Yukon Gold District, Alaska, by Josiah Edward Spurr. With an Introduction chapter on the history and condition of the district to 1897 by Harold Beach Goodrich. Covers are missing and a few loose pages, but all pages are present AND the 2x original maps.

2. Map of Alaska Showing Known Gold-Bearing Rocks With Descriptive Text Containing Sketches of the Geography, Geology, and Gold Deposits and Routes to the Gold Fields, by S.F. Emmons. 1st ed. 1898. 44pp plus large, folding color map. Covers with slight bend and chip. A near fine copy, the tet and map in find condition.

This is a rare USGS monograph report issued by the U.S. Geological Survey for the use of prospectors and miners, including descriptions of routes to the Klondike. The large (30.5x25") folding map of Alaska and the Klondike (Canada) is in color with the gold regions, ofrtymile and Birch Creek Series, shaded in yellow and green.
