Baker who hath served in the Connecticut Line of the Continental Army the sum of 10 pounds, 6 shillings & 2 pence. 8" x 4"; Sequential pair of Receipts No. 170 & No. 171 from the Comptroller's Office April 28, 1795, payable to Thomas Knight, Attorney for Col. John Raymond out of the the Taxes appropriated for the payment of the Civil Lift and charge the State 4 pounds,10 shillings. No. 171 is for 35 pounds, 19 shillings". Both signed by A. Kingsbury, Esq.
