Lot of nine. 1) Austin N. T. Back states the letter was actually received in 1865 after Nevada was a state. From W. G. Borneman. Includes historical information on Borneman. Top of strike is cut off. 2) Unreadable Treasure City strike. But it is from there as evidenced by the" John A. Paxton, Feb 1, Treasure City" business stamp. 3) Unstamped and addressed to Benjamin Dove of Treasure City. 4) Virginia City N. T. cover from B. F. Wallace with background information. 5) --- (Carson or Virginia) City to Ann North of Santa Clara. c1864.Very early statehood or territorial. 6) Very weak 1871 Silver City strike. Includes some background information on James L Daley of Virginia City - the sender. 7) Nice Hamilton Nevada strike addressed to M. L. Bateman of Virginia City. 8) Weak Virginia City strike addressed to Frapoli(?) of San Francisco. 9) Columbia. Although one can't read the state, it is addressed to Knapp of Hawthorne, Nevada. That makes this most probably a Nevada Wells Fargo cover. State: Nevada City: HWAC#: 46493 Date:
