The Elliot Derringer A.K.A. “Pepperbox” was made by the Remington Arms Company. This small .22 rim fire pistol was their “New Repeating Pistol” (Elliot’s Patent) No.2” Over 50,000 were made from about 1863-1888. This 5 shot pistol has a stationary 5 shot fluted barrel cluster with revolving ring type action. The barrel group tilts up for loading and extracting. The grips are hard black rubber. The frame was blued and the barrels were nickel-ed. The serial numbers are on the bottom of the barrel inside the frame. This was a very popular pistol. Most pistols of this type were sold by Remington. This pistol functions well and is in original condition State: City: Date: ID#45775
