Lot of about 20 pieces. Most is for the Reno Brewing Company, with a few pieces from other Reno brewers. 1) Reno Brewing Company. Operated 1903-1957. The first brewery was 2-story and located at 990 E. 4th Street, In 1905, they completed a new 6-story facility. A new bottling facility was produced in 1910. With Prohibition, they converted to soda water in 1918, resuming beer in 1933. Includes: a) Eleven gorgeous bottle labels, advertising products such as Malt Rose Beer, Sierra Beer, Royal Beer, One Sound State Beer, and Sierra Sarsaparilla and Iron. b) Beautiful pictorial letterhead sent in 1906 to Arnold Klauss in Virginia City, Nevada (who ran the Sawdust Corner Saloon) regarding an order of 5 casks of Sierra Lager. c) Pictorial corner ad. cover sent in 1918 to the Nevada Industrial Commission. No Contents. d) Bill sent to Johnson & Werner of Virginia City, Nevada, 1920. Lists the various soda waters, mineral waters, juices, and beverages of the company. e) 1923 receipt to Johnson & Werner of VC for 1 cask Cascade Ginger Ale. 2) Other Reno brewing ephemera for the Rainier Bottling Works: a) Pictorial cover and billhead for Rainer Bottling Works, H. Pohle Agent, 1907, to Arnold Klauss in Virginia City. Damaged, see photos. b) Two Virginia & Truckee Railroad documents for shipments by the Rainier Bottling Works, 1908 and 1916.
