Two Reno Brewing Company beer bottle labels for Royal and Sierra Beer. Multi-color. Unused. Pristine. Crisp and vivid colors. Reno Brewing Company opened in 1903 and was located on the corner of E. 4th and Spokane Streets. The brewery was founded by master brewer, Jacob Hook, a German immigrant, John Maurer and Peter Dohr, both second-generation Germans originally from Wisconsin who moved to Reno from Montana. By 1907 the successful company boasted a new five-story brick “annex” and produced three varieties of beer: Sierra Beer, Malt Rose, and Royal Lager.
