Printed 1852 by Damrell & Moore, Boston. Disbound. Autographed on title page by Hill. Located to the west and south-west of Eagle Harbor, on the northern escarpment of the trappean ridge of Keweenaw Point, Lake Superior, Michigan. Color map of property and separate color longitudinal section of the mine (separated from booklet). Begins with history of the company. Hill describes the property in detail. Report ends with by-laws. Samuel Hill (1815-1889) was an American surveyor, geologist and mining developer in Michigan's Copper Country. He first surveyed the copper country of Michigan in 1845.
