23 pages. Printed by G.V. Town & Son, Philadelphia, 1879. Office in Philadelphia (as expected for early Montana mining). Mine located on Gold Hill, Meagher County, Montana Territory, at the head of Montana Gulch, two miles above Diamond City. Begins with discussion of by-laws before reporting and describing the property. Property has a ten acre mill site, ten stamp mill and the claims: Western Star, Golconda, Croesus, Exchequer, Mill, Rotchchild, and Fortunatus. "The bars and gulches surrounding Gold Hill (one being the famous Montana gulch, the second richest found in the Territory) have proved the richest in placer gold of any mines yet discovered in Montana, and from the locality of these gulches it is evident that the gold obtained therefrom was washed from Gold Hill." Original cover present but detached, as well as a few pages from the report. Pages 13 & 14 are missing. Stains and tape repairs.
