Nine page report (6 x 9 inches) written October 6, 1884 in Santa Fe by governor Lionel A. Sheldon to Henry M. Teller, Secretary of the Interior, Washington D. C. In the report the governor reports growing industries in cattle, sheep and mining; problems with Mexican land grant holders; the suspension of railroad construction has created hardship with insufficient employment for the population. Good condition, no cover.
