Printed Rich Bar. That has been scratched out and Taylorsville has been hand written. J. T. T. has paid yearly dues to the Sincerity Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons. Signed by AJ Gifford and GW Boyden. This is certificate number 8, so one wonders if J. T. T. Taylor is somehow attached to the name of the city. Printed at the office of the Quincy Union. Rich Bar was part of the Plumas County gold rush. It had rich placers on Indian Creek. (Potter Collection) Date: 1869 Location: Rich Bar / Taylorsville, California HWAC# 58114
