Organized in 1863 in Michigan. No. 1395, issued for 100 shares to A.R. Leland on Dec. 10th, 1880 in New York. Signed by president Thos. F. Mason and secretary Smith. Pen cancelled. Black border and print. 6 x 9" Folds, pinholes, heavy staining on left side. According to the 1897 Michigan. Dept. of Mineral Statistics Annual Report, the mine was located in Ontonagon County. It was reorganized in 1896, with the new company hoping to unwater the shafts in the west end and start sinking new shafts. The property title was in questions by parties in Marquette.
