Dealer Lot of about 60 Ridge Copper Company Stocks. Issued. 1880 & 1881. Cancelled. Organized in 1850 as the Butler or Champion Lode. The richest of the Evergreen Range Mines. According to an 1882 Michigan State report: "The mining plant is much behind the times the machinery having been long in use needs replacing with newer and improved patterns. The compressor and power drills should replace the slow and expensive hand work. The mine needs a compressor and air drills to extend the openings with greater rapidity than is now possible. If pushed with the same vigor as the Osceola there is but little doubt that the Ridge would be a paying mine." See photos.
