Lot of framed riverboat ephemera that belonged to George W. Long, a riverboat mate who worked on the Mississippi River. This lot includes three frames with several pieces of ephemera in each.
A) Frame containing a drawing and a photograph of two riverboats named "Cumberland" and "Chicora." The bottom photo is dated 1877. 14 x 11, good condition.
B) Frame containing a United States Inspectors' License to Mates of River Steamers issued to George Long in March 1899, a photograph of Long, and a drawing of a river steamer. 20.5 x 16.75, good condition.
C) Framed certificate from the Army of the Grand Republic to George Long for his appointment as an Aide-de-Camp on June 18, 1906.21.5 x 17.5, good condition.
