The Road South refers to Highway 395. 49 pages. One photograph of the plant. 2) "Memories of Long Ago" are the memoirs of Lieutenant Colonel O. L. Hein of the Army. Includes the Civil War, West Point, Camp Halleck, Camp Winfield Scott and Camp McDermitt (where Sarah Winnemucca was the hospital matron) in Nevada, Fort Walla Walla, Camp Lowell, San Francisco Presidio, Vienna, Manilla, Budapest, Switzerland, etc. 309 pages with 20 black and white photographs on shiny paper.
