#145. Nez Perce surrender to General Mills in 1877. Scene is almost surreal as it might have been from the Nez Pearce point of view. 20" x 40" framed. Blair was born and raised in California. He first attended the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Ange les from 1960 to 1962, while at the same time working for the Los Angeles Examiner in the art department. He attended the Art Center in Los Angeles from 1963 to 1966 where he developed his first work in the fine arts field. After moving to New Mexico o 1988 , he taught oil painting classes at San Juan College in Farmington. He understands what the early artists saw in New Mexico with the blazing blue skies and magical light.City: County: State: MTDate:
