Document signed by the famous Pony Express rider, Robert "Pony Bob" Haslam. Haslam helped build stations between California and Nevada, from Friday's Station to Buckland's Station. He also made the longest round trip Pony Express ride during the Paiute Indian War. This document, signed by Haslam, acknowledges that appropriations money from the Legislative Assembly was received by the Treasurer of the Territory of Nevada. The backside acknowledges a different delivery for territorial warrant payments received by the Territorial Auditor, P.G. Childs. Document is approx. 7.75 x 5 inches, good condition.
