Black border and print, green background and mine hoisting vignette. Printed by Collier & Cleaveland Lith., Denver. 4 x 8" Folds. Not listed in Fossett or C&L. According to an article in The Rocky Mountain News (Volume 21, October 8, 1879), this company had mining interests in the Elk Mountain District in Gunnison County and in the Verde Mining District in Custer County. The following year, The Gunnison News (Volume 1, Number 6, May 22, 1880) reported the company had 20 lodes on Rock Creek, 20 men employed, and were bringing in a Rand air-compressed diamond drill to create a 300 ft. tunnel.
