Green raised company seal, grey border with black ink, two train vignettes, Imprint revenue stamp RNP5 1 front, 1 bottom back, RBW2 1 front bottom. Railway was built in 1868, when merged with the St. Louis, Alton and Rock Island Railroads. Operated 292 miles of rail network between Sterlin and East St. Louis, Illinois. Company was founded by Rockford, Rock Island & St. Louis Railroad with the St. Louis, Alton and Rock Island Railroads in 1868.
