Unissued and cancelled stock certificate for Rockne Motors Corp. cert. #23 incorp. under the laws of state of DE. Rockne was an American automobile brand produced by Studebaker Corp. of South Bend, IN, from 1932-1933. Named for University of Notre Dame football coach Knute Rockne, who became sales promotion manager on March 31, 1931. He died in a plane crash 12 days later. Rockne production on the"75" began at South Bend on Dec. 15, 1931. 1933 Rockne line was reduced to only the "10", which was an updated "65."
