Very early. $500 bond no. 69, issued in 1864. Signed by president Beach and secretary Bolles, as well as two trustees. Not cancelled. Red border and print, green seal. 10.5 x 17" Folds, creases. Located on the Gregory lode next to the Benton, the principal lode of the Black Hawk district. In 1867 they had 2 shafts, one of which was more than 200' deep. Both shafts were run on narrow gold quartz veins. The mine and mill were inactive in 1863-6 with no local agent when Hollister reported them. Not reported in Wallihan, 1871.
