"On the night of September 25th, 1917, the Rodeo school house at Rodeo, Contra Costa County, California, was entered and entrance gained to the stock room and the following property stolen. 12 dozen Ticonderoga lead pencils, 12 dozen Beginners' pencil Dixon No. 308, etc." "I believe that the school house was entered by some cripple or led pencil peddler..."
