This choice mint clear applied top whiskey bottle (Thomas 135) was found in a building in Placerville, California. It has a ¾ label on the back from a Siebe Bros establishment in Sacramento. This may indicate why Siebe changed the embossed face to exclude the “San Francisco” and “Pacific Coast” from this bottle. It dates from 1882-1885. This is the old version that will not turn purple. Siebe had three different embossed western whiskey bottles, including Dr. Miller’s Ratafia.
