Signed by president Sawyer and the company secretary. Not cancelled. Printed on yellow paper with black print and a mine/mill vignette by H.W. Turner, NY. Pinholes, folds. 5 x 9" Not in Filer. Listed as being on Canterbury Hill with N.N. Robertson as manager in the 1883 Report of the Director of the Mint. In the 1884 report, it notes the company has seven claims on Gold Ridge, five on Canterbury Hill. Work being done includes perfecting titles and sinking as 250 foot shaft which shows free-milling gold quartz between walls of granite.
