Certificate #10 issued to Stedman Bent for 100,000 shares as part payment for mining properties. Dated March 20, 1907, it states the shares would not be transferable until Sept. 20, 1907, six months later. Signed by J.W. Travers as president and Leota Travers as asst. secretary. Located 54 miles north of Tonopah, gold was discovered at Round Mountain in 1905. In 1906, the rush was on as high grade ore was found on the south slope of Round Mountain. Dozens of mining companies were quickly organized. Placer gold discoveries led to hydraulic mining at Round Mountain and the district was prolific enough to keep the Sunnyside mill in continuous operation until 1921 (Paher). Fold splits at the top repaired archaically on the back. Uncancelled. Date 1907 Round Mountain, NV hwac 8754
