Numbered and signed pencil drawing by Nevada artist Jonni Hill of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. The work also features their horses, Trigger and Buttermilk, as well as their German shepherd, Bullet. It's mounted in a nice rustic wood frame, with a rope border that measures 26"x 23".
Hill grew up in Placerville and passed away in Gardnerville, Nevada in 2017. Besides her "hobby" of being an artist, she was also a copy editor and features writer at The Record Courier in Garnerville, Nevada. She drew everything from steam locomotives to family portraits. This particular work captures the joy of both "The King of the Cowboys" and "The Queen of the West."
