The Royal Bar was closely tied to prohibition in Reno. It was located at the corner of Fourth and Peavine. In 1921 one of the bartenders was found guilty of selling alcohol. In 1923 the bar was ordered closed for nine months. It was also raided as an opium den. It never seemed to re-open. "Compliments of Royal Bar / Reno, Nev. / Gerber Prop." The story is great. The condition of the mirror is poor, but this is possibly the only one known! State: Nevada City: Reno HWAC#: 47206 Date: 1920's
