Wonderful small gold ingot made from amalgam (placer gold). 0.59 troy ounces. This ingot shows the texture of the cheese cloth used to squeeze out the mercury before baking. From the Royal Mine, Calaveras. It is one of only two we have seen like this. 18 x 11 x 10 mm.
