This "Explorer" knife made by Ruana Knife Works pays tribute the the Corps of Discovery by making this replica knife in the same fashion carried by the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It has an elk antler handle with the burr, pinned with steel on a short hidden tang. Marked #"194" and "Ruana/ Explorer" on the left side. With a lined leather sheath to match. This knife was made to raise money to support the Traveler's Rest State Park where Lewis & Clark rested for several days in 1806, just off the property of Ruana Knife Works in Missoula, Montana. With a Certificate of Authenticity from RKW. 12 in. overall length and 6.5 in. blade. From the Parris collection. Please see photo for details.
