Lot of 5. Ruby Hill Drug Store, Chas. M. Fassett, Pharmacist and Druggist. 1) Three different prescription slips, all issued in 1882, two in color. 5.5 x 3.25" Soiling, toning. 2) Pictorial billhead for C.M. Fassett Assayer's Supplies, Spokane, Washington, 1903. Vignette of gold balance! Billed to the Crooked River M& MC of Oro Grande, Idaho. 3) 4 x 5" repro. print of people standing in street at Ruby Hill. Charles Fassett came to Reno in 1878 and worked as a pharmacist. He moved to Eureka in 1880 and bought Wlch's Ruby Hill Drug Store within a year. He operated this drug store until 1887. In 1886, he opened a store in Palisade. He moved to Reno in 1887 and opened the Fassett Drug Store. In 1889, he sold to William Pinniger and moved to Spokane to join friend (and fellow Nevada druggist) Stowell.
