Inc. in South Dakota. Cert. #512, issued for 500 shares to G.S. Clark. Signed by Frank M. Ish as president. Wonder, Nevada lies 18 miles north of Fairview and had a population of 3,000 in 1907. Wonder had ore very similar to Fairview. At the Ruby Wonder mine, there was considerable development in 1907 (Mineral Resources of the United States, 1907,Part I). A few of the other mines were producers in 1907, but the money depression in the fall of 1907 all but shuttered the camp. The company did have some shipping ore according to Mining & Engineering World, 1907. Frank Ish was the uncle of Milton C. Ish, also of Goldfield. The two opened a grocery store on Columbia Street in Goldfied, but sold it to concentrate on mining. Both were involved in the Ish-Sheets lease on the Combination and Mohawk in Goldfield, where nearly a million dollars was taken out (Bessie Beatty, Who's Who in Nevada, 1907).
