The San Jose coin club was originally called Todo Dinero Numismatic Association. It was founded in 1946 by Rudy Gjurovich. In 1947 he joineed the California State Numismatic Association and was general chairman of the first convention in 1949. A gem example of the 1949 1st convention medallion is in this lot and three other medallion from San Jose Coin Club Shows. Three 8 x 10 photographs of Rudy in action. In the 1970s, Long Beach and San Jose were the coin shows of the year, every year.
