Folds, bent corner, some toning. 5.5 x 9" According to Tullidge's Quarterly Magazine of Utah, Vol 1, an earlier company, the Rush Valley Smelting Company, formed in the 1860s at Stockton, Utah and was organized by military officers at Camp Douglas (1880, pg. 180). Burchard (1882) reports that the Rush Valley Mining & Smelting Co. owns the Quandary Mine, adjacent to the Great Basin, with a shaft sunk 200 ft. (pg. 243). Ken Prag Collection
