Group of approximately five different documents or paper wrappings from Purser Hull's safe. All restored by the Northeast Documents Conservation Center in Andover.
1. Rhode Island Telegraph, July 18, 1857. Partial only, mostly the masthead. Comes with other parts from unknown documents.
2. An illegible hand written letter with traces of ink and three ticket back splits, probably from Havana to Aspinwall tickets similar to those in another part of this sale. (The thin cardboard printed tickets had a laminate surface in the middle causing the paper to split in half)
3. Blank letter sheet, probably had wiring.
4. small red wax sealed paper package that had unknown contents
5. paper wrapping, nothing legible.

Provenance: SS Central America Collection
