Written in pencil on the back of the photograph; Virginia City 1880-1890 Intro of a saloon -"Deadeye" Dick & friends at the bar. 4 men and two bartenders pose for this shot. March 1898 can barely be seen in a Winchester Calendar located just behind the bar. The gentleman to the right is wearing a gold in quartz watch chain with a rectangular ingot attached. The man in the center is pouring his own drink. A Pabst Milwaukee sign hangs at the back of the bar. B.) Written in pencil on back; Virginia City, Nev 1898 Interior of a saloon. A young man and a bartender inside a saloon. The ornately carved back bar features large mirrors and a picture of what appears to be rooster is hung behind the bar or is reflected in the main mirror. The bartender is wearing a gold nugget on a watch chain. C.) Noted on the back in pencil; Interior of Henry Tobener's Saloon, Gold Hill, NV. 2 men and a bartender. StarTobaccoo signs hang from the ceiling and a Eureka Cigar sign sits above the doorway. D.) Interior shot of Wertheimer's Cigar Shop c1870's-80's. Two men stand just behind the bar. Signs for Star Tobacco and La Estrella Cigars hang in the back of the shop. A hookah sits at the bar ready for sampling.
