Signed by vice president CK Gilchrist and secretary RG Smith. Stamp cancelled. Black border and print, underground mining vignette. Printed by Salt Lake Litho. Co. 7.75 x 11" Folds, toning. According to Financial and Mining Record, Volume 30, the company owned the Sampson Mine at Bingham, a large producer of silver lead ores. Ore had to be shipped up a hill to send it to the lead mill via a tramway. The company is building new tramway track (1891, pg. 95). Engineering and Mining Journal, Volume 63 (1897) reports that the company has bought the Yosemite No. 2 mine. Ken Prag Collection
