This little pocket pistol was made by Samuel Evans of London. Marked "EVANS/ Cambridge" on the receiver. It has a screw on barrel, smoothbore about .50 cal. Percussion with a spur trigger, and a unique side bar safety system. Still operational. Patinated steel with walnut grips. Some light handling marks. 5.25 in. overall length, 1.25 in. barrel. This gun is an antique and no attempt has been made to fire this gun to confirm its mechanical integrity. Nor should this gun be fired without the examination by a qualified gunsmith. Any attempt to fire an antique gun is at the risk of the owner and not consistent with the value of the firearm. No FFL required.
