One special postcard of a New Year's Night outdoor gathering at the U.S. Grant Hotel where Mme Tromben sang in the open air, Temperature 52 at 9:30 P.M., compliments of HOLZWASSER, Inc.; Also included in this collection are 10 cards (1 RPC, 9 chromolithos) from the California Pacific International Exposition ("America's Exposition") (1935-1936) intended as a counterpoint to the Great Depression. Within this group is a novelty card showing the Palace of Food and Beverages w/metal foil dagger/envelope opener (?) attached.
