Lot of 4 publications about railroad and light rail in the San Diego area. First, we have "San Diego's South Bay Interurban" by Ralph Forty. Well-done history of streetcar service in San Diego dating from the National City and Otay Railway of 1887 through the opening of the new light rail system in 1980. Covers the use of horse-drawn and steam cars and their replacement by electric cars as well as the various routes south to Mexico, explaining how the trolley systems promoted the city's growth. Lastly, "San Diego & Arizona" by Robert Hanft. This is the story how John D.
