Kellogg has now left the assay office and Hewston has partnered with Louis A. Garnett. This bullion memorandum is dated Sept. 16, 1869 and shows a deposit by Kruse & Euler of 105.08 oz, .861 fineness, valued at $1,799.30. Marked C.C. Bush & Co. at bottom left, merchants in Shasta.
