Five San Francisco billheads, dated 1865, 1869, 1870, 1871, and 1912 for machinery and parts sold to the Savage Mining Company in Virginia City, Nevada. Earliest is an 1865 billhead from Dickinson & Gammans for 1,000 boxes of candles! Two (1870 & 1871) are John Taylor & Co. pictorial for assay related supplies (like crucibles and acids). A third (1869) is a pictorial billhead from Hayward & Coleman (lamps and oils) with lamp vignette. The later (1912) billhead is from Harron, Rickard & McCone for 2,000 Victor double strength fuses to the Best & Belcher, Gould & Curry & Savage Joint Winze.
